Café LaVita Size Requirements
Generally
speaking, Café LaVita comes in two sizes.
Café LaVita Standard: 75 sq meters to 300 sq meters, high ceiling
preferred.
Café LaVita Express: 25 sq meters to
50 sq meters.
The above size specifications are subject to change per local market
conditions and government regulations.
Café LaVita Location
Café LaVita, Standard or Express, can be located in the lobby of a modern
office complex, in a shopping mall, on a cruise ship, in a golf club, near an
upscale residential neighborhood, in a college campus, inside large
bookstores, or in an upscale entertainment or convention complex.
There might be other unique situations or locations in your city or country.
CPG will gladly work with you on them.
Café LaVita Partner/Owner Qualifications
Be a business professional or a corporate entity with good reputation, strong
financial background, and proven expertise in retail and/or food service
operations.
General Capital Requirements:
To open 1 unit of Café LaVita: US$175,000 in cash, liquid assets, or
available financing.
To open 2 to 6 units of Café LaVita: US$160,000 per Café in cash, liquid
assets, or available financing.
To open 7 or more units of Café LaVita: US$145,000 per Café in cash, liquid
assets, or available financing.
The capital requirements are necessary for a Café LaVita owner to complete the
design and construction, as well as the purchase of equipment, supplies,
furniture, signage, water purification system, electrical system, audio-visual
system, alarm system, cash management system, opening inventory and other core
elements for a Standard Size Café LaVita. These costs are based on current
costs of goods in the USA in general. Costs of land, rental deposits, site
improvements, legal and other professional fees, etc., are not included. If
the Café LaVita is located outside continental USA, the costs and the cash
requirements will most likely be different from those mentioned above.
Fees to CPG for Setting Up Your Own Café LaVita outside of the USA
Application Fee: To cover the
processing of the application, credited back to owner/partner upon signing of
final agreement.
License Fee: To cover the
licensing, processing, approval and training programs of each location of a
Café LaVita.
Royalty Fee: Percentage of monthly
gross sales.
Performance Fee: Refundable upon
successful completion of licensing contract.
Local Marketing Fees: A certain
percentage of monthly gross sales to be spent by partner as he sees fit for
local area marketing of his Café LaVita.
Co-Op Advertising Fee: A certain
percentage of monthly gross sales paid into a regional marketing fund, which
is managed by CPG in USA and used for promoting the LaVita brand and all
LaVita Cafes in the region.
Multi-Location Fees: Discounts
available for more than 1 unit of Café LaVita.
Regional/Master License Fee:
Such an arrangement is available to those wanting to have the exclusive
rights to do LaVita Cafes in a specific geographic territory.
